I've smiled at the answers which I have recieved from you folk. Veritas has prompted me to say that perhaps theEd does needs the chop and, being somewhat polite, I think the rhyming word which Elvis required was RUNT; because the Editor's attitude on matters is somewhat piggish. Although, whilst appreciating your poetry miaow I would be interested to know how you know that the Ed is a male. Is it because you know, as I do, that females are more polite on most matters.......Ron

pinktwink....I like your poem, it sends the right message to the headless Ed., and miaow has made o good point about him being given a double barrelled baptism.

So miaow and pinktwink I've now had a think that the Editor won't reply to poetry or prose; even if a double barrelled shotgun was stuck under his nose.

Why not just get rid of the Editor's Blog category - a waste of space. There are more recent postings in Weather and (!)Christmas.

Replace it with Where's Ed? ;-)

This thread is still sewing. So others can help me to stitch-up matters for the benefit of us all; because:-

I've heard it said, "the Ed is dead".
So if anyone knows this is true;
Then please post his obituary,
Which is certainly overdue.
