Erratic banning

I have been able to use AB today after several days of being banned. This happens every few days - often, most frustratingly, at the weekend. I am never abusive, insulting, crude, rude or obnoxious, unlike some AB users, and merely answer quiz and crossword clues mainly. Please, please, tell me why this happens.

Maybe it's for over-posting Info. If the site is slow (as it has been) and you hit the 'submit' button a few times it autobans you.

The general concensus at the moment is that it is a techie glitch...it has happened to a number of people this weekend.

It has happened several times with me most annoying when some of the filth gets through and like you only try to help other users with answers.

I only ever come on here to answer questions and be helpful, but its happened to me as well. Those that cause all the trouble never get banned.

I've said it before and I'll say it again." AB has gone to pieces" It's a great pity because I really did like the site but there are problems and Editorial staff are not keeping us informed so that we could be sympathetic with them...Ron

Info..........It may be a bit like doing the driving test; only so many get through, or trafficc wardens................they have to get so many to make up the quota. Or the M.O.T....so many have to fail.

What makes a site or group attractive is the exclusivity of membership lol.when it has a high rate of banning, it suggest careful monitoring, a standard, a quality and as they've only got ?two editors they don't have time for all of that so they randomly ban......Select a few nice names and just use them..that would be the fashionable thing to do. good luck
