Anyone else sick of users thinking night time users are scum?

I really do rarely post at all let alone night times but i'm fed up with day users sticking their noses up at people who come on at night wondering what has happened to the site.

Simple -come on in the morning and dont read whats happened the night before or

Think -jee whizz that is one nutter and all the rest of them were doing were having a laugh and a chat until it came on and spoilt it for them.

In other simplified words -dont tar us all with the same brush if we chose to nip on at night times report the abuser instead of bumping yer gums about the genuine people.

I'm not really bothered what the day shift writes about the night time CB, but I'm annoyed that they do seem to have a 'no go area' attitude, but not sure if that isn't something they just build on to make themselves feel superior

Dris, I think you are taking it all a bit personally. MOST users recognise the ones that cause trouble in the evening and just ignore them.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a user or users who are posting at weekends and evenings in the most vitriolic style. I guess the posts aimed at "evenings" is aimed entirely at them. And it is easier to make the generalisation rather than named particular names and thus singling themselves out for abuse.

Knob, at this present time I think that we would all do well to unite against the idiot that is posting the vitriol and ****. And despite what you may think I am convinced it is not Dot or Dabees. I've been around long enough to know their style and it just ain't either of them.

too flippin tight it isn;t barmaid and i would be mortified if anyone even imagined i could write such filth, some of the stuff they were posting was absolutely disgusting, anyway i only got home at 7ish and they looked like they had been on a while then, i worked til 6pm, but even so, i would hate anyone to think i even know half those words and phrases, which is why it's odd that it does seem like a female

I agree Dot -thats the impression I get but they are quick enough to scour in the morning and post tut tut threads.If they arent happy then they should just ignore but I suspect they like the little bit of frisson deep down

Barmaid -yip you got me -I do take it personally only when my personal circumstances are vilified.Last night was gross and rather than walk away I fought my corner.What a tube I am and I kicked my own arse for it but its bizarre as its almost like someone is insulting your children to your face in the worst possible scenarios and a red mist appears and hey ho -you stick up for them.

Knobster -its the day shift who bug me to a degree -why cant we come on at night -we dont all have access in the office to fart about on AB so night time is sometimes the only times we get on and then a greenie who isnt a greenie appears and thats the morning fodder in a oner !!!

I've certainly never suggested that there's anything wrong with night-time users, per se. However, like many others, I find that the majority of night-time threads aren't worth bothering with, simply because of the idiotic posts from a few apparently nocturnal individuals.

This thread (so far) seems to be proving that there are exceptions, 'cos of the presence of lovely people like yourself, Dot and Barmaid.
