This site is free, and is only helpful when you can't be bothered to use the internet to find out something or ring the manufacturer of your faulty item with your problem. So why do some AB users feel so strongly about the littlest things. E.g. "Why does the Ed unbold my answers?"...Does it matter?
Sorry, Kerplunk, but your first sentence is not true. A very large proportion of the questions posted on Answerbank require replies from people with specialist knowledge, skills or experience.
But why do some users feel they have a write to DEMAND changes or responses from the site editor? Look at some of the responses to Fakeplastics question "Banned Again".
Because if the site is to totally change direction then I think it would be advisable to let people know in a straightforward way, instead of randomly banning questions and giving standard non commital answers when people want to know what is going on. Intelligent people contribute to this site and we are being treated like naughty children.
OMG - what is happening? Are we in some sort of timewarp?
Thank heavens you are here, else I would have reported myself to the local loony bin! I can't cope!!
