When following a link it used to open in another window now it doesn't and if the site you go to is one of those annoying ones that stop the "back" button working then you're stuffed. Please have links open in new window, thanks

It's far too wide .I have to have it full screen and even then the text is so small I have to zoom in and out.Either that or scroll back and forth along the bottom to be able to see the whole page .
Not good for people with bad eyesight like myself .Plus when I have it full screen this knocks my bookmarks column out .The sludgy orange colour is not very user friendly either . .Those pink jelly baby blobby people are really annoying .
No facilty to preview and edit or use hyperlinks . The OP is not highlighted .All my previous statisics have been wiped out.
Can we please have the recent posts and answers box back as it was .
I had a peep at the Sports Answerbank .Excellent layout and good colour co-ordination.
Why couldn't that layout have been applied this shambles .

Oh that's lucky, Jan1957 has just said what I was going to say...we need lines back to separate the questions and replies please... I'm sure it's already been suggested but I don't have the time to read through everything, it's too messy to quickly scan the page in order to pick out certain key words.
On the whole, I don't like it but I had intented to use the site far less often anyway...which will break a few hearts no doubt ....not :o)

It's true, the longer lines of text are harder to read - there's more on a single line than you'll rind in books or newspapers, for instance. And the text size in this panel I'm writing in now (Type Your Answer Here) is too small.
On the plus side, glad the profiles have been sorted out at last.
But how come Newsdesk gets an avatar and I don't? This is sheer favouritism and if he wasn't such an entertaining ABer I would be miffed.
Geezer, in the meantime, I think if you hold down Control while clicking on a link it should open in a new page, though it may depend what browser you use.

Apologies if Im repeating things. I make most use of Quizzes and Puzzles. Colour is terrible. I found My Profile after several attempts because pressing on My Profile brought up a list of my previously asked questions (I don't ask very often so most were irrelevant and, in any case I didn't want to view them) and at first I failed to notice the poorly coloured tabs above these questions for accessing questions I'd asked, thread I'd viewed and the 'my profile' I was trying to reach. It was much better to actually reach My Profile when pressing on it and then to navigate to other areas of interest to me, such as previously asked or answered questions.
Sorry if i'm out the loop but I can only view the first page - how do I follow a thread?
O and I know (hope) that it will get fixed but its like a new site just lashed onto another one ATM -just looks silly.
Can you now report a reply rather than a thread ?
Probably all been answered but as i say I cant get very far so far :)
This reminds me of when AB/Sports had the avators and the ability to leave a message -that went t!ts up but it seemed like a good idea at the time but obviously wasnt practical at that time.

Spare Ed.
At the moment, the line length is too long. This makes the text harder to read and leads to unintentional re-reading (the eye loses the start of a new line and re reads the one it has just read.
If you increase the size of the text (it needs increasing anyway) that should improve the problem of the too long line length.

I don't have a problem with the width (now, now), but I can't see any lines Ed!
Making the questioner's posts stand out on their threads & putting the last answer at the top of the page (as it used to be) would be very helpful too. (Although I have mentioned that on anoher thread).
