sports answerbank exodus

just curious as to why so many regulars have migrated to sports answerbank? I have been there, its nice enough (a bit quiet) but why do they not post on here as well? Apart from the obvious changes it is pretty much the same place, so why are they all so reluctant to post here?

there is a lot of showing off over there and the sports AB Ed is very peppy and excitable

hopefully they will drift back. for all its faults this site is good and lively, with lots of different opinions

I thought they would drift back.. some have though. each to their own. at least they're not here moaning about how terrible it is ;o)

sara, the same people who complain that it is quiet because 2 users and their half dozen followers have left, forget about all the users who left becasue they were hounded off the site by those two users.

it's not very diverse though, NK. none of the sports stuff interests me and there's generally only one other thread on the go.

alot of people have left more than 2 users and their followers - holidays still and then those who join a site and move on

If you get in a clique you tend to stay with those people.

I find Leggy and Knobby amusing - have had a lot of interesting conversations with Leggy on here in the past but so many people chose to see only the bickering - and yeah leggy did give a lot but he took a lot too.Same with Knobby.
