A response to Shawnee

Shawnee has a habit of posting a question and closing it immediately. As there is little point in this I have removed those questions and quote him below:

Do you remember the old site at all Shawnee? I remember that, especially towards the end, it slowed to a halt and crashed regularly. The site generally deals with weekend traffic very well now. The new site is fast and only crashes due to unforeseen circumstances - sadly we are yet to implement the crystal ball node yet.

I am unsure if you read my post but one of the toys we are giving you later this evening is a email notification system - this is something the community has asked to be reinstated and it will be shortly - so to you "sound-bites" comment I can only say "tosh!"

The other is a Swear-filter. Again, something requested by the community which we are delivering - I am unsure what your actual criticism of this could be?

He's made the same old points again and again ad infinitum..He's the reason I no longer partake in Q&P.
Had enough of his hate campaign and moaning .
He once told me to crawl back into my sewer ,albaqwerty.
Can't remember now which name he used to do it though .
Could have been either prospector,athenae ,vidkun,quisling,taize,ventpeg,yapisle or pantheon to name but a few.
Pay no attention .He gives himself away everytime by his "style ".And his little hints concerning long standing members of AB cut no ice with me .I can see right through him .He's just desperate for attention . .Pathetic .

There is no actual 'filth' on CB these days,the trolls that used to frequent that section have mainly disappeared.We do have a slection of smut (of the 'Carry On' variety)on CB occasionally though. As I posted before,if the site offends you so much go and find a different one to use.AB is not here solely for your posting and reading pleasure.

Dear Shawnee,

I would suggest the posts I make every day state the position of The AnswerBank.

The "sewer," of chatterbank is not as you believe, it is generally peaceful and well behaved these days. Also, if you think we can stop someone committing an offence before they have done so you may need to step back and gain some perspective on your position.

As to your previous comments I can only reiterate "tosh." You are refusing to read and understand what I have written previously and grossly misrepresented the attitudes of this site and its userbase.
