Banning questions
5 Answers
I can totally understand defamatory or abusive questions being banned, but what about the questions that are polite and reasonable subjects for discussion? I posted a question asking opinions on whether downloading music for free is damaging the music industry, and it has been banned. I don't get it!! How can we find out? There seems to be no "contact us" button.

Palfreyman - "innocent" questions are banned if they are duplicates or have a trivial, converstional themes (such as "What did everyone think of the new film/song/TV show..."). This helps create more space for the many interesting queries users' have in abudance.
Hope this clears up any confusion.
