Ed - can we have a count down clock thing to the world cup matches?

We had one back in 2006 and it was excellent, everyone knew when the matches were on. there was also a little thing on the bottom left that kept a track of the scores and the points table which was very useful, if you have a search trough the AB archive I am sure you will find it, it was red and white.

Ed can we ensure that AB (excluding SportsAB) is a football FREE(and all that goes with it) zone.
There is quite ENOUGH sport on TV etc without it seeping into the main part of AB and boring the pants off of us!

nothing like true patriotism, I want the World Cup well covered and well supported on AB and hoepfully I want to live to see it come to this country. SportsAB is nothing to do with this AB as has been explained by the ed several times, I only go over to that site to poke the eejits that are banned from here. We have a sports section here but this is a World event and I do think that those who wish to avoid the World Cup can easily fo so by following the mantra , 'if you don't like it don't read it' much the same way as we try to ognore trolls.
I hope the big ed and spare make every effort to get something special sorted and I hope they have the avatars and logos ready pretty damn quick, the count down feature would be a useful additoon and annoy noone. Go for it eds
