AB Ed - Changing Username
Hi AB Ed - someone who uses AnswerBank, has been having difficulty trying to change their Username. This person has sent AB 3 separate e-mails asking for assistance, but has still not received a reply.
Therefore, is there anyone else who could assist. Every time this person tries to change their username, it keeps coming up with 'this e-mail address is already in use'. Where does he/she go from there? Thank you in anticipation of a prompt rely.
As an aside, I also sent an e-mail to AB two days ago, asking for technical advice as I couldn't post anything at all. I can post now, well intermittently, but still haven't received a reply either. How regular are the e-mail enquiries checked & acted upon. Just wondering.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I suggest that the trouble the user is having this problem is either trying to take names already employed by other ABers - or he/she is simply not changing his/her username correctly.
To do so...
- log-in using your current details
- click on My Details at the top of the page
- change the User Name only. If it is already in use by another ABer, the system will not allow it again.
- click Submit
- log in again, using new username.
