I have just posted a thread with a link to a newspaper article. In the first post the link would not work, I tried again and it still would not work and eventually at the third attempt the link I posted worked. Why is there no facility to remove the two useless posts?

i guess we'd be removing our posts here there and everywhere wouldnt we, which wouldnt be ideal.
anyway, theres nowt wrong with a few duff posts! :o)
I agree L. Most forums have the facility to delete or edit posts, even if there is a time restriction that they are amended or deleted within an hour would be helpful. I often press submit on here to find I have some duff spelling!

Google Chrome has a built-in real-time spelling and grammar checker.

Apart from this one...
That was funny Eddie :-)
I am quite able to check my own spelling thank you. But we can all make typos.
Question Author
This was neither a typo or a spelling mistake - the link did not copy properly, so did not work, and it took three goes to make it usable. Just seems daft to leave the other messages on there, when the last one could be left.
Does MarkRae get paid for correcting the spelling ?
He must do Vulcan ...... although he isn't so smart when he fluffs up himself!!
