RSS feed reader - recommendations?

I've been using the Firefox add-on Brief for RSS feeds but it's database always seems to grow despite maintenance settings and so I've decided that it's time to try something else.

I like the idea of a browser based reader so that you just click on a RSS icon and that feed gets added to your list without the need for copying/pasting URLs, but would be willing to try anything.

I'm trying the Sage add-on currently but would appreciate any suggestions.
