Avatars -- Why do chatterbank ABers beat the rest ?

Just placed a question in the music section. Couldn't help but notice that hardly any ABers in this section had a Avatar.

probably because lots of others have an avatar and we chat all the time? i also think we like to reflect our personalities in this way, too...both obviously (as you have); the realists with pictures of themselves; and the rest like me who go for the comedy factor x

I reckon it's because most folk who post on the other categories tend to just ask the question, get an answer (hopefully!) and leave again. Whereas us here, lurk for ages, so we need summet to look at when waiting for answers- hence avatars.
