ok, I used to be able to highlight questions, copy and paste into a search engine, or a notepad document.  But now it highlights the rest of the whole page.  Can this be altered by any chance, or is there a specific reason it does this?

Yes, there is a specific reason it does this.

1. You are probably using Internet Explorer which, unfortunatelly, has problems with web sites written in the way the AnswerBank is written. It simply doesn't support CSS corectly :-)

2. You can use FireFox, which is a kind of Mozilla browser and which supports highilighting text in CSS web sites normaly, I mean in a way user expects it. You will find FireFox here: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Thanks, JjP!

ok, I am now using Firefox. I'm quite impressed, although the pages are a little slower loading up, but not by a lot. I will see how it goes. Thank You. (o:
Fern57, the only thing you might miss is text editor. It is not working in FireFox.

I never used the text editor anyway, so that won't be a problem. I like the idea of tabs, can still View Page Source, and I was just reading the latest news in the headlines menu. It's quite good. So far.. I like it.

As Internet Explorer happens to be the most commonly used browser, it would be more useful if Answerbank was designed to enable efficient selection and copying in Internet Explorer, rather than blaming Internet Explorer for not following the cascading style sheet rules.

Most people don't want to change their web browser just because a particular website doesn't work with Internet Explorer.
