Dearest Editor in Chief, is there a problem with the Q&P section? There are at present about 4 unanswered questions which have a title and no actual question. At first I thought it was just the fact that the Q&P section is used by a lot of our senior citizens who haven't used the site before but now I'm coming to the conclusion that there's a technical error.
There are some problems with current usability. We should be addressing it this week for launch next week (fingers crossed).
We are intending to make it impossible for users to submit a question without filling in the details box. This should tidy up some of the problems and encourage more helpful questions.
It's not a "technical error" necessarily - more like an interface error (technically).
Ed, here's another example of someone who has pointed out their is no Question Details box available when they use their phone on AB. Will this technical interface error be addressed in the planned changes or will phone users have their questions withheld as their Question Details box can't be filled in
Spare Ed, if this plan works, it will be really good news. It will save some of us a lot of polite questioning and wasted OPs (or not-OPs in these cases). Let us know when you are launching, we will Watch This Space.
