Should the Ed take action against those who are encouraging and supporting banned members to infiltrate the site.

He's made his position quite clear on a number of occasions, maybe it's time to get the message across with a bit more force.

I am not encouraging anyone, but I offer support to my friend.

what should my punishment be, Connected?
Loyalty is a rare attribute these days - I salute you sara ♥
Connecteds suspended sara.
How ironic :)
I thought you were in love with joeluke sara3 !
Not supporting legend or knobs come back then...
thank you, ttfn, you're a wonderful woman x

Dris, that didn't take long, lol!

redman, oh crap.. I can't think of a suitable response ;o)
poodi, I'm a delicate soul.. don't start on me.
She's been sniffing the sherry again-loving it lol
That sara3 is flirt Dris !! he he
I'm wondering whether it is counter productive clamping down on each reappearance of banned users.
My thoughts in response to the suspension of Cheekymonkey today are equally relevant here.

I didn't see most of last night's thread- if it turned nasty then suspension was of course right, but if suspension is automatic even if the threads are inoccuous then I think it may may not help in the long run.
These people seem to have plenty of old user IDs they can reactivate, so it just becomes a game of cat and mouse.
f30, NoKnowledge resurrected an old username last night, and there was some banter and some fun.. a bit like the old days!

and then the username was banned. and then some people had a gripe about him, even though he'd done absolutely nothing wrong.
Doesn't matter if he's done nothing wrong when he returned sara. The fact is that he was banned previously for doing something wrong, so became perma banned.

I'm really struggling to see why folks are having dificulty accepting this. Whether you agree over his original banning in the first place is irrelevant. He is, so therefore he continues to be banned, no matter how nice he is each time he manages to burrow under the barbed wire.
you know b00 is right, I like nok but he was warned several times by the ed that he would be banned if he persisted with his behaviour and he would not let up, ergo he got banned.
