X-words

X-words seem to be taking over the site! I just visited Home and garden for the first time and the first three questions are x-words!

I used to enjoy the quizzes and puzzles section because there was a good range of lateral thinking and dittloids and dingbats and trivia, but now it's mostly crosswords

I think the time has come to have a dedicated crossword category.

Further to the above...I just went to Body and Soul for a bit of a change and LOL just after the 4skin question and the teethgrinding question comes a...Crossword question! Ed they're taking over I tells ya!

Seee now I thought that one of the Ed's jobs was to shift them to Q & P but maybe he's too busy or has been on his hols?

graemer - yes, many questions do get put in the wrong categories - and for that we apologies. The Answerbank is hugely popular and sometimes users, in their enthusiasm to join in, place their pieces incorrectly.

However, we have many eagle-eyed users who help us by reporting posts in incorrect categories. This means we can move them to their rightful places, tidying up the site a wee bit at a time.

If you ever spot a question in the wrong place, feel free to report it. You'll be helping enormously.

well I did, but as there were loads in history, I just posted here instead of reporting them individually and not only did you not move them, you banned my post!!! (Hunches shoulders and looks miffed)
