Inappropriate Questions for This Topic

Would it be possible to move queries that do not belong in this topic to where they do?
It drives me nuts to see questions that have nothing to do with AB here.

I had thought that 'Suggestions' referred to those for this site. Maybe a few words stating that would help...like a sticky at the top of the topic.

It's a permanent thread highlighted in a yellow box at the top of a topic page. Like the Eds sticky re Suggestions at the top of this topic.

Also, people tend to put identical questions in more than one topic (for maximum exposure) and then can't keep track when they get answers spread over those questions.

Shame that identical titles by the same author can't be automatically merged.

I'll post in one, then 5 minutes later wonder where my answer went when I'm inadvertantly reading the identical question elsewhere, lol :-))

Btw, did you post a question about a buzzing add sound on this site? I'm almost sure I responded to a question of that nature posted by you earlier today, but now I don't see it. Am I imagining things or was the question removed?

I did, and I wondered where that had gone. No explanation and nothing to indicate that I've had a question removed though.

..and the damn thing has been buzzing all day, on & off.

It's the Northampton University advertisement. The Ed did mention trying to remove it, I assumed they had forgotten, hence the question.
