I was confused. He and other posters denied shaloof's allegations that he was a banned user and said he'd been here for ages but his profile showed he'd joined only 2 days ago.

I assume then that he and shaloof are two of the people banned from AB who battle it out with each other on here from time to time . Seems a waste of energy to me. Some of these guys must have created many hundreds of AB IDs and email addresses in the last 12 months.

I wonder what is so fascinating about Answerbank and most of all Chatterbank that makes anyone who has been banned desperately try to get back in. Looks pretty normal to me, although a bit mad at times, but nicely so. It's not an exclusive club. The rules are simple. or simples if you must. Or is it that some people just like to be destructive?

probably a control element, before the days of the Ed answerbank went through quite a lawless period where these characters thrived. now order is restored and they have been removed they dont seem to want to let it go.

Well, judging by some of the trolls, I am very glad there is an Ed. It is very odd though to read 'answer removed' now and then because as I am so nosy, I always wonder what it said. However, I do not want to read anything really nasty so I must curb my nosiness. Thanks for the explanation cazzz - makes it more easy to understand.
