Napster MP3 Store facility; Contacting Napster

I would like to take advantage of Napster's "MP3 Store", where you simply pay for each individual track you wish to buy, rather than taking out any of their monthly subscription packages. This facility has been advertised in many areas on the web but is seemingly an irrelevance to the company.

On their site, there is no mention of this facility (barring one passing reference in their FAQ area) and there is certainly no link to any area that will enable me to take advantage of this facility. The prominent link that encourages you to take advantage of their services leads only to their subscription packages, where there are three options (all of which require a monthly subscription to be taken out, the cheapest being £5). This is not what I require.

I then thought that I would contact the company to ask about my requirements, but the "Contact Us" area only leads you to the FAQ area of the site, which I have read too many times now. There seemingly is no way that you can actually send an email to the company to ask them any questions.

Q: Does anyone know how to actually take advantage of the Napster MP3 Store facility and how does one go about it without taking out a paid monthly subscription

You are right - they seem to make it really difficult to do this - I was having the same problem and, after about a hour! of googling found the following information hidden deep in the napster site which is only accessible AFTER you have clicked on one of the 'get napster unlimited buttons'!. I haven't tried it yet - just about to - hope it works for me - and you :) It looks like you have to go through the process of creating a subscription account part way when there will be some kind of option to change it and not have to enter any card details etc. Misleading much!

To become a Napster MP3 Store member, just click on the Get Napster Now button on the Napster homepage. On the registration page, choose a Napster Unlimited membership and click Continue.
