Ed, can you white a 'HOW TO' for the Q&P section?

Why can't people put simple corrections on their original thread?

I'm just off to start a new thread to answer this :)

Yes it is getting quite frustrating now, could the how to be a sticky where people will see it?

... and why can't they post the quiz or puzzle 'title'?

i.e. Please Help ... 3d. wa?k?r.
Not wanting to be 'ageist' but I suspect a lot of the Q&P mob are silver surfers and not as au-fait with internet technology. Bleedin annoyin tho ain't it?
oooooooh!

"...and not as au-fait with internet technology."

They can post a question easily ... just not in a manner that can be understood.

That's FA to do with technology (IMVHO)
I think it's just something you have to live with as a long term AB user.
Morning,

Considering the way the Q&P round-up is mostly ignored (only a few hundred views from the thousands passing through) I think attempting to stem the tide is a bit King Cnut.

I'll see what we can do though.

All the best,

I wouldn't bother Ed. With many people asking questions like this:

I doubt they will read a "How To".
Wow.

I can't work out what's more unbelievable, the question in that link or the fact the Ed seemed surprised at it ...pmsl ;-))
It is just a particularly fine example.

How do you white anything??? lol
At our age we should all know white from wrong.
HellyWelly... can we help? You may need to explain a little further!
Sorry, it was a joke - in the original question NazNomad has said 'can you white' and I assumed that he put that instead of 'write'. (I could be wrong).
Thanks for the offer, anyway.

You're right, I hadn't noticed my very obvious typo, thanks for pointing it out. ;-)
Oh dear, me neither... my apologies!
Haha I thought 'white' in the OP was some sort of computer / technological term. Me ignorant or what. :-(

Actually I thought it was in reference to a sticky.

Even on Helly's first post in this thread ^^ I still hadn't realised I fubar'd, lol
