I know it's been asked before but I think a "Delete your own post button" would be a good idea, as Ed knows of late I have needed Ed's help in removing a couple of my posts. How much easier to just hit a button.

I don't actually want to remove any answers that I may have given, cos I stand by those, whatever I have said!
Neti. Your passwords wouldn't have been revealed for all to see at all. You could see them when you clicked into the links because you were obviously still signed into the site from whence you posted them.

I know, but still have dread of others poking about in my business!!!
heres a novel idea - why not just wait and check your post before hitting submit?

then there will never be any need to remove it...
Or bring back the 'preview' button.

joko, they couldn't be previewed. One was a piccy from FB and until it was here it didn't show details and the same with the email one, it didn't show my addy before it came here, otherwise I do preview them!!!
The preview that we used to have on here would have shown them as they would appear once you submitted. That should be brought back rather than a delete button.
I agree with ummmm and CD and others; it would only be used for mischief. That's certainly how I would use it. Boy, would I make you all look a lot of twonks. People, even the elderly and infirm, should just think before they post.
Question Author
hhrump! but jno thinking doesn't reveal what is going to turn up, Ed knows what I'm on about!
Yes, ummmm, you are right we need the preview button back so we know exactly what our links show as well. That would solve the problem.
perhaps preview as a CHOICE rather thna having to go through it automatically

i check what i have written in the window i write in so dont need to open another window ot look again
You can't check your links out though Joko to see how they appear in your posting. Testing:

A preview would allow you to test your link - often when people post links to their own photos it doesn't work.
