i overheard a girl talking about a book she was reading and was too embarrassed to ask the name lol. its about a man who is in love with a woman for years but he goes off travelling and ends up getting engaged to another girl. i think there was something about the ring. (not very good at eavesdropping) he goes to cities all over the world and i think she follows him. its been a few weeks since i heard about it and i know ive forgotten parts. they end up together at the end anyway. anyone???? lol!!!!!!!!!!! im not very hopeful haha

I agree with bednobs, sound a bit like One Day. Not read the book but I saw the film, it was very good so I imagine the book will be great.
