Second Hand Wii

Hi, iv just bought a second hand wii and wii fit with board. Two questions. One.. Can you play wii fit as a new 'second hand' player. And also.. Iv put new batteries in the board, and the blue light flashes, but doesn't stay on.. Am I doing something wrong, or is it faulty..? Thank you so much in advance

the board should work fine - you can always add and delete people on it - my kids are forever adding their friends when they come round.

you need to have a game in for the board to work and the light to stay on - if you're doing that, make sure the boards facing the right way round so the signals getting to the wii unit, and if that doesnt solve it, have you snch'd the board to the wii (similar way to syncing the remote controls)
