I am currenlty looking for similar authors to these :

Katie Flynn, Anne Baker, Dee Williams, Pamela Evans, Annie Groves, Rita Bradshaw, Lynn Andrews, Dilly Court, Ann Baxter, Maggie Lope and Catherine Cookson...

It's for my Mum, she's read most of Catherine Cookson books so any help would be appreciated :) xx

Agree with shaney about Kate Morton and also try Maeve Binchy, particularly The Glass Lake.
