I've just purchased ' Behind Palace Doors - My Service As The Queen Mother's Equerry' by Major Colin Burgess. It's a very easy read, not stuffy at all. I bought it on the Kindle daily deal for 99p, it's now shot back up to 4.19. Interesting insight to the Queen mother with bits of history thrown in if you enjoy history as I do.

It's one of the funniest reads I've found for ages. It's literally a true story of a man who 'plays along' with internet spam e-mailers by answering back and stringing them along through brilliant threads - it's very clever. (not sure if you can get it for your kindle though (?)). xx

Yeah, that's true elina, they're always worth a go at 99p aren't they? I've had some great ones, and some dreadful ones. I'm glad I'm not alone in finding it not worth the bother.
Just coming to the end of I know why the caged bird sings, also a daily deal. Can't make my mind up about it, was waiting for it to get going but it just didn't, fairly interesting though.
