Hmmm.

Lewis Carroll was 'fond of' little girls (and took hundreds of photographs of them wearing little or no clothing). J M Barrie was likewise drawn to little boys. Most of the romantic poets were drug addicts. Ben Jonson killed an actor. William S Burroughs killed his partner. If you're going to limit your reading based upon the moral conduct of the works' authors you'll be missing out on a great deal!

That's true, BC, but I wouldn't read Carroll nor Barrie if their work was child porn; as far as I know drugs weren't illegal when the romantic poets were writing romantic poetry and surely Jonson won a duel?

I feel that Perry is feeding her murderous tendencies through her work. I'm not claiming to be logical or rational.
I've thought it was a curious choice of profession for someone who had committed a real life murder and I thought she tried to roll the blame onto her friend and co-murderer but the reason I don't read her is I don't think she's much good rather than I'm offended by her past. I thought this news broke ages ago?

I think it is old news, but it's new news to me
