Very Short Stories Similar To Footsteps In The Sand

I'm looking for very short 'stories' with a moral such as http://www.onlythebible.com/Poems/Footprints-in-the-Sand-Poem.html

They don't have to be religious. This is also the type of thing I would like to find http://andrew-ong.com/2008/02/06/the-starfish-story-you-can-make-a-difference/

It is important that they are as short as these 2 examples because they are for my Mum who has alzheimers and although she loves these types of stories she can't concentrate on anything longer.

2 villagers Pandit and trader went to metro city for their livelihood. The trader and Pandit both earned according to their caliber. The brahmin earns more than the trader and it resulted in jealousy. While on the way to their village trader tried to kill brahmin. Brahmin requested to send him just 4 character to his family. The trader agreed and killed him. The family of brahmin produced these 4 character to the court of Raja bhoj where Kalidas was one of the Jems. अ प्र शि ख these were the characters. He translated. "अनेन स्वर्णकारेण प्रदेशे निर्जने वने शिखामादाय हस्तेन खड्गेन निहतः शिरः। " The said trader has killed the brahmin in the forest on the way to village. And the brahmin family found the justice.
