My preference is non-fiction and history - in particular, political history. One of my most recent reads was "The Fall Of Yugoslavia", and I've read "The Churchill Factor" and "Orders To Kill" a few times over in recent months.
I also like anything that is ground-breaking in the field of nutrition and cancer-fighting, diet and lifestyle, you get my drift...
Tambo, I desperately need a removal of the whole "system" so I wouldn't say everything is hunky dory. However I will rejoice when I am a "free woman" if you get my drift...
I have to say goodnight now, but I will check back on this thread tomorrow.
Life as a jew in Germany in the Thirties and Forties. Several volumes, so get the first then if you like it, get the second.
Vol 1. I Shall Bear Witness: 1933-1941
Vol 2. To The Bitter End: 1942-1945
These volumes includes an amazing insight into how many ordinary (non-Jewish) German folk sympathised (and occasionally helped) the Jews living in Germany.
There is a third volume but that deals with post-war period I think (it's the one I haven't read myself).
P.S. I no longer provide Amazon links because they pay no UK taxes, and I prefer to make my purchases elsewhere.
