Help with book Title

I read a book approx 20 years ago and have forgotten the title. It was a fictioinal account of the tribes of Britain, just before or around the time the Romans arrived, and was set in the south west of England. It featured the women warriors in the tribesand was very strong on the concept of Albion. It was a very long book!
