Atheist had a question on this in Art/Lit. Have a look. I've hit it in Ch. 2, but have managed to start writing again by going back to the short story format (which I prefer). I've forced myself into doing it by deciding to enter the Daily Tel. short story comp with a deadline. I won't win the comp. - but it's a big win to start writing again.
If you can think of any 'bits' get them down even if they don't hold tog.. I think in pictures, so scribble a description of any one that is very vivid. Good luck.

Thanks Blake. It's a self portrait;-)
Blake; if you're in the middle of chap 1, then you haven't really started yet. Do you have a story worked out in advance, or are you just letting the tale tell itself? If the latter, then I'd suggest you let it continue; one thing leads to another, and so it goes. Good luck.

Well you are not doing very well are you ?
Blake, if you have a story worked out in advance, then I suggest you continue writing it out in draft form; you can return and expand or inprove your draft. Are you simply stuck for a plot, or are you *** off with your poor literary quality? Plot? Maybe sit with a pencil and a notebook and work out the rough lines of what happens. Quality? If you can see it's not good, then you are halfway there because you are able to see that it's not right and you can improve it by editing until you can see that it's good.
