Nice way to spend a different Paddy's Day, JJ. Our village parade was different too but, in a way, just as enjoyable... though a little tear jerking.
We finished our double celebration with a toddle to the inlet and had the pleasure, as we toasted Dave, of listening to two lads rowing as they sang Irish songs.....x

To tell you the truth - the most magical station to be in anybody's life. At the drop of a name, action, years, decades, my life on the interface (I never saw it before) - it's all on YouTube.
After the 3 hours of Irish (drunken LOL) singing) - then I followed all the Irish singers (Daniel O'Donnell and don't you know Majella is a fabulous harmoniser with him - then we have Margo, Big Tom, Dominic Kirwan, - and then of course I follow the little ones from across the world, Angelina Jordan, Sophie Fatu, Ceilon Tam. So my night has been beautiful.
I hope you all had a great night, mind you - I shared with my beloved Maxie.

Glad you had a great night, JJ. We all need one of those!
I was friends for a long time....most of my life....with a lady in the UK. She's the aunt of Daniel O'Donnell though I didn't know that for a long time.
Every time we meet she slaps then pinches my cheeks, shakes my head, still holding my cheeks and says...Ahhhhh...it's wee Mary. :-(

thanks Gness (Mary) - like for years and years I always partied St Patrick's Day, where I live - loads of music, cabaret, called up singers (fabulous singers) going on around in venues in probably a 4 mile circuit.
Now two of those lovely friends have dementia, one two heart attacks, and in a care facility (dementia friend) and I can't visit her, so there were loads of memories today because (dementia friend) has loads of craic and songs, so I've missed that today.
I do have a few other friends but you know what I don't know whether any of you are coming through the same - but they don't seem to want to have contact - and I ain't calling any more.
Miss them all - this lockdown has made them paracodal (paranoid). Hope lockdown hurries up. Next door family 2 adults 3 children all have Covid - so must say they have been isolating for about 7 days now.
Other family members are now leaving groceries at the door, one son in law - left more groceries and made the "Devil Sign" Cross sign LOL at the adult's door.
Let's hope we can go forward quickly and safely.
