Elf On The Shelf.

Of all the things I am thankful of in life, my kids being too old for 'Elf on the shelf' is towards top of the list. Now, I do think some of them are quite amusing and I realise children love them. However imagine the horror of forgetting to do it and waking up at 2am in a cold sweat😂. Why do these things catch on and become the norm and does anyone know anyone who refuses to do it ?
