If Labour were to reduce the voting age to 16, then it stands to reason all of the other rights one gets when reaching the current majority must also be reduced to 16 like, for example, being able to go into a pub and get drunk, get a tattoo, buy fags etc... If children are allowed to vote, then they should be legally allowed to do these things as well, and if not why not?
Daft idea.
A new national anthem is coming - thanks originally to the composer...
When Britain first, at electorate command
Arose from out the Tory main
Arose, arose from out the Tory main
This was the charter, the charter of the land
And gulliver's angels sang this strain
Rule Britania
Labour rule the waves
Britons now, now will be their slaves
Tax Britannia
Labour rule the waves
Britons now, now will be slaves
Starmer and Reeves shalt they rise
More corrupted from each Russian stroke
More corrupted from each Russian or Chinese stroke
As Reeves blasted, the budget that tears the skies
Serves to uproot our native oaks
Rule Britania
Labour rule the waves
Britons now, now will be their slaves
Tax Britannia
Labour rule the waves
Britons now, now will be slaves
