can anyone remember a play on television in the 1970's or 1980's about a man who when he retired decided to walk fron Lands End to John o Groats just because he thought he could. He took in part of the Pennine Way and was taken ill. the lady he was staying with looked after him and contacted his wife who came to stay. When he recovered he went on and finished the walk. I think it may have starred Josh Ackland but I could be wrong. Hope someone can help.
