Hi all, I know this is in the wrong category but having been on the Arts and Lit Topic and seen that 9 out of 10 Q's get no answer and having actually had no answer to a Q I posted I thought you guys might be able to help instead!
I read a book about 2 years ago and I can't remember what it was called. it was set ages ago about a woman who I think was called Mary. She ended up on a ship to Australia (I think she had a child that died on the ship) and fell in love with one of the captains. They landed in Australia and she got married and they had children on this island etc etc. I think there may have been a tv series made about it at some point but I'm desperate to find out the name of the book so I can read it again! Any ideas?Or does anyone know any websites that possibly might help although i have very little information! Thanks very much!

You guys are fab! Thanks so much! I have to say I'm now pretty certain it was the Lesley Pearce book that I read initially as I have a lot of her books. But i'm interested in reading her story by one of the others now so a fantastic result! See, I knew if I asked here that you would all help me! Thanks!!
