painting hamster

Just realised my question is no longer on here so thought I'd post it again just to see if anyone responds this time! There was a book I enjoyed as a child, a picture book, about a hamster who went to an art gallery then decided to do his own painting which turned out to be a self portrait (something like that anyway!) Does anyone know the title or author?
