The father wishes for two hundred pounds, which is the amount still outstanding on his mortgage. He thinks he has everything he needs, but when his son suggests he wishes for the money, he does so ... and he receives it. Anyone who wants to read the story -

Just read t and it's very creepy but whats his last wish?
The father uses his final wish to send his son back to the cemetary.
Ohh! Thought that might be it but wasn't sure...gruesome!! Love stories like that!
Yeah it's one of the best short stories ever. The father wishes for the thing he wants most at that time and gets it - directly because of the loss of the thing he loves most.
It is a brilliant story - a perfect illustration of the "Be careful what you wish for ..." maxim.
