read at the stroke of madness last year , borrowed from a friend, noticed there are a few about Maggie O'dell,does it matter what order i read them in?

It probably doesn't matter which order you read the books in but they're listed in order of publication here:

i've read all her books and i think it does help to read them in order. the one called "a necessary evil" is a follow up to "a perfect evil" but wasn't written immediately after it.
