I've just finished reading The Innocent Man, i found it quite a chilling tale, more so because it's based on a true story.
If you like a mystery thriller but something a littkle bit more technical, may I recommend AIRFRAME by Michael Crichton.

It is all about sabotage and skullduggery in the aircraft industry.

Very good.
if it's for a book club try this:
In the Woods by tana French.
it's her debut novel and got very good reviews.
Tess gerritson and Chricton are a bit mass market and Alice Seabold would not be classed as a mystery thriller, though it is an excellent book and defintiely worth a read.
You might also want to try Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, a remarkable author.
Does it have to be a thriller? I recently read "Crow Lake" by Mary Lawson I haven't enjoyed a book so much in ages
Past Caring by Robert Goddard.

At all costs by John Gilstrap

Whiteout by Ken Follett

Beneath the Snow by Caroline Carver

No second chance by Harlen Coben

Void Moon by Michael Connelly

Just finished reading Death Du Jour by Kathy Reichs although not a new book I thought this was a really good murder mystery/Thriller. Defiantely worht a read
