mrs dustypuss would like to know if any other ABers are enjoying the free Catherine Cookson dvds with the mail. dont you think its rubbish that wh smiths only get about 50 dvds for everyone. after that its tough look!! 1st come 1st served but there should be enough to go round! Yes? THEY ARE GOOD VIEWING THOUGH!

Oooh dusty - Forgot about these! You know I bought the whole Catherine Cookson books collection. How many have gone already dusty? And is there one tomorrow? xxx

They had a pile of them at our local Tesco on Saturday, left by the newspaper stand. People were just helping themselves. I have had trouble with getting other DVD's from WHSmiths so perhaps you could try Tesco next time.

this is 2nd week. there are 4 more to friday. i didnt like "tilly trotter" much but have loved all the others esp. "the wingless bird" . to buy they are approx. �7.99 each so are good if you get up early to get them!!!

dusty, I'm not a Catherine Cookson fan but I laughed my head off in WH Smiths on Saturday.
I approached the 2 spotty oiks on the tills and heard they were talking about her. One asked the other if he'd heard of Catherine Cookson.
The 2nd oik said
"I think she was in Big Brother or is a friend of Paris Hilton."
