My garden at the new flat seemed so small and it was a bit overgrown and with a scabby old delapidated shed, got a few lads out this morning with chainsaws and a trailer and...hey presto...Ive found 8 FEET more garden in length under all the mess. Roll on the spring for a complete new shape to it and a nice new shed. Chuffed to bits now.
Hope you paid them well and gave them a nice roast dinner, with apple & black-berry pie n custard. Cheese/coffee/beer. Let them sleep in front of the TV?
I did pay them well and gave them rolls n bacon n coffee, they did an ace job, I have loads of plans for the garden in my head, but im too wee to get it all levelled off, need to get them back in the spring for that with their rotavator.
Cant believe Im getting excited bout sheds now lol
Get huge plastic sheet (used on trucks to hold loads) and spread over reclaimed land. Weigh down plastic and land will be weed-free/soft/ready to plant up by spring.
leggym,im not sure whether your a horticulturist, but in order to own a big strong growth, you must first plant your seeds, but only after ploughing a deep furrow first....
Yeah Ive been looking from upstairs but as its Scotland and a 'winter' sun I wont know where the hot spots will be till spring/summer. Got lots to plan.
My interior DIY is NOT going to plan however this weekend and Ive pulled a muscle and keep drilling the fireplace wall in the wrong bit lol, its just not happenin
