I went out for a meal on boxing day and decided to go for a cheese board instead of having something sweet so it comes with 4 crackers, a bit of blue, cheddar, brie and what looks like 2 triangles of edam….so I go for that first…it’s soft, almost spreadable….i did wonder at the time how thet got it so soft so piled the whole triangle on the cracker…then moaned to my friend that the crackers were a little too salty for my liking. She took one look at the cheeseboard and said that’s not cheese you’ve piled on that cracker! It’s butter!!! Now when I think of butter I want to positively be sick…if you can beat that ‘less intelligent moment’ then please feel free?

I made some doughnuts many years ago and rolled them in salt instead of sugar..... so I washed 'em then put the sugar on.
In a similar vein, I put sugar on my chips once. I was with other people, I didn't like to admit that I'd made a mistake so I ate them, bleah.
I sprayed anti-freeze on my hair instead of hairspray once. I saw an American recently who spread his clotted cream over his sandwich because he didn`t know it was supposed to go on his scone.
In a dimly lit Chinese restaurant after they'd put all the different dishes on the table they placed a large bowl of warm water down too for ones fingers. My H dipped his spoon in and said "What kind of soup is this then?" before spluttering it everywhere when told what it was
