This planet's diameter at the equator was six times as large as the distance between the poles. Gravity at the equator was 3g, but at the poles was 700g!! The planet was referred to by several writers as 'a discworld', and the first story was published when Terry Pratchett would have been aged five. His stories are all scientifically correct, based on the knowledge of the time, and are ripping yarns, well worth looking up for any sci-fi fan.
