One of the people I work behind the scenes with at 'oliver' has added me as a friend. I don't really like them but if I don't accept it, they're probably going to either be more b1tchy about/ around me or completely ignore me, knowing her. Yes I know it's sad, but if I was never going to see her again then it wouldn't be too bad.
Plus, she's only a couple of years older than me but her sister's one of the Nancys so that's probably why in the programme her title is something like 'assistant backstage manager'. I'm only 'backstage crew' but TBH I'm doing more work while she's there and I get there/ leave after her, so overall am doing a lot more than she is.
This next bit you don't have to read, it's just a bit of a rant.
For example, i was helping with the major scene changes which was during the interval and between 8/12 quick scene changes. She helped with them plus moved something such as a tray or a couple of books off the stage for the others. The rest of the time I was in the props/ quick change room helping the little'uns get changed especially those needing microphones and most of the other microphone changes aswell. And I was sorting peoples hair out - cos I go to cadets I can do a nice, neat and secure bun :) and i was doing some other bits of pieces. But during this time, that other girl was sat down for msot of the time, and occaisionally came in to help put the microphone on this guy she fancies.
Rant over (I know life's not fair).
What should i do, it's not exactly life or death but I don't want to be really awkward.
