Looking for the title of a children's book

It was about 2 children who move into an a new house and walking through some woods stumble upon a mansion house. The house was actually burnt down and the people killed some years before but they only find this out at the end of the book - they have been seeing ghosts. The title of the book was (I think) the name of the house and I have a feeling it was Golden something or similar.

If anyone could help I'd be very grateful!
