Has anyone ever heard of an artist called Hydan or Mydan?  I've got a painting of a ship on an ocean but don't know anything about the painter.

I have the same exact question. I too have a painting of a ship by this artist, that my parents purchased in the 80s. It survived a house fire and is very sentimental to us. any info would be appreciated

His name is Rupert Hydan. His work is worth roughly $50-$100 depending on size of canvas. From the late 1970's through early 1980's.
