Kindle 3 Querie

I know how to delete book from list but it goes back to Archives. Can you tell me how to delete it from there.I had a few free books and just wanted them deleted . Thanks for any replies.

From the Amazon Kindle site Wendilla - There is a warning that you wont be able to retrieve.

Locate the item you wish to remove from the Your Kindle library list. Filter your view or search your library to quickly find the item.

Click the Actions button and choose "Delete from library" to permanently remove the title item from your account and Archived Items

Thanks for quick replies. Just to try and explain what I mean. Yes I know you cannot retrieve them after deleted. These are just 2 free ones and when I deleted them from the home page they went to archive .How do I delete them from there . I have deleded them from the library list on amazon.

Have you tried to delete from Library using the Kindle or just from the Amazon site. The instructions I posted were from the Kindle although I recall you may not have Wi-Fi ? which you may need to have enabled ?

Sorry in being so long in replying . Had to go out. no I don't have wifi but I can access books and everything. Just have a problem deleting from the archives.

On the Manage Your Kindle page on the Amazon site.
To the right of each title in your library, is a button "Actions"
Click it and select Delete from Library.
It will warn you that this will be permanent.

Just to be clear. You have to go to Amazon in a web browser and log in to your account.

Yes Rojash I have done that but it is still on the archives on my kindle.

Well, if you don't have wifi access, your Kindle won't have any means of knowing that it's been deleted from the server, so it will still show in the archive. (the archive just means stuff that's not on the Kindle but is on the server). It should disappear from the Archive the next time your Kindle is fully sync'd.
