need a small but good paint package...

i have a mini 7" laptop, runs xp, 8gb, but 32bg sdcard

it doesnt have the usual, simple 'paint' package that is usually in the accessories on pcs

can anyone recommend something similar?
a photo editor, with drawing, text options.
i want it to take up as few resources as possible, but have plenty of features like crop, clone etc ...

Disclaimer: I've never used this program (because I've got a full version of Photoshop and no problems with system resources) but lots of people (both here on AB and in the technical press) have praised it, and it gets excellent reviews on CNET, so (with only a 3½Mb download) it could well be worth a try:
