Some of you have seen this one progressing, when it was just over a third done. Well, as promised, here we are:

Combination of Early Tudor and William IV makes for an interesting mix...

DT. mic told me of your pics. Stunning is my opinion.
Thank you. We`ll see that I hope? I did like seeing "in progress" too for the one you`ve just done.
Oh I see there was another thread ... Thought I was losing my marbles!!

well the next one shouldn't take as long as it is essentially one floor, though the roof area looks pretty tedious! This one will be about getting the scale right and then the perspective - but nothing too awkward as it is a "newer" building and not as deceptive.
Question Author
sorry tenrec - I had issues with posting this pm as did many of us and somehow it ended up in animals, which may or may not be apropos.....
That is brilliant DTc the detail is great. I enjoy looking at your drawings the old church door one is good too.
No worries DT. That is a real talent you have. I'm green with envy.
Did look at the roof. Do you always enjoy or are there times when you want to give up? Not that I can imagine you giving up having said that! What do you not enjoy drawing?
Often used Rotring or Stadtler myself DT. Bit out of practises now and nowhere near your level.
Excellent DT - very envious
Question Author
Very rarely, gness; Roofs are ok - the newer the easier actually.....not great on animals whereas my sis is really good at capturing their life.

People are ok - used to do life drawing but haven't done any recently.

Like most of us, bottles can be horrendous in having to capture their curved symmetry - need to be plastered first I think!
Interesting. Often pop into local exhibitions and now you`ve said I can recall not so well drawn/painted bottles.
Considering,if I can afford it, a dark mural on ex-massage room wall. Local guy,Michael Peachy does some I like. Witches,Guinness and birds in my mind at the moment but he has a weird imagination so I shall take advice.
Very impressive DT.
Know Ardington well.
Wantage is my home town, moved on in '79.
Excellent as usual DT.
